Thank you to...

Uncle Reff - the 1930s face of Reffells Bexley Brewery Ltd.Over the years many people and organisations have helped me in researching the history of the Reffells Bexley Brewery, only a few can be mentioned here:-

Jim Packer - First and foremost in my thanks must be to Jim and his unceasing help in all things Bexley & the beer industry of the area. Author of two books about Bexley pubs; Bexley Pubs: The History of Your Local (1995) & Lost Pubs of Bexley - Pubs created after 1830 and since closed (2005), he has been so generous with his time and & support of my researches over a very long time. A really decent guy!

Kip Waistell - The grandson of the brewery's long standing Managing Director Percy Hugh Waistell, Kip has been very supportive over the years and has provided many of the breweriana photographs on this website. I had the privilege of meeting his aunt Eileen in 2002 who told me so much about the brewery which I wish I had recorded for posterity.

Over the years many other people have kindly supplied photographs on the website including Andy Barber, and I was very grateful to the Mayor of Bexley for allowing me to hold & photograph the Mace given by the brewery to the Municipal Borough of Bexley in 1937. A big thank you there!
