Edward Ernest Reffell - (Also known as Ernest Edward) Acting Corporal A/389426 Army Service Corps. Enlisted 1915, Discharged 1919. From the National Roll of the Great War 1914-1918; Shortly after volunteering in June 1915, he was drafted to the Western Front, where he served in various sectors. Attached to the Expeditionary Force Canteens, he was engaged on duties of great importance in this theatre of war, and rendered very valuable services until after the signing of the Armistice.
